Healthy New Year

May contain: food, fruit, plant, and produce

2022 is right around the corner. As we close the holiday season, the following tips will help you ring in the new year right:

Get Tested - With rising COVID cases, it is important to get tested. Go to SMC Health Testing for times and locations.

Get Vaccinated/Boosted - Keep yourself and the community protected by getting your COVID-19 vaccine or booster. For more information on booster eligibility please visit the CDC website. For vaccine and booster availability go to San Mateo County Health

Wear your mask - Continue to wear your mask in indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status and whenever you are around people whose vaccination status you are unaware of.  Check for updates from the Department of Public Health for the latest mask guidance.

Gather Safely - With the new year upon us, the CDC has put together a comprehensive list of risk factors to consider and healthy behaviors to incorporate before gathering with loved ones. Remember you can always host a virtual celebration in place of an in-person event. If you are sick or have symptoms, stay home and cancel plans.

Travel Safely - If you are traveling for the holidays/new year, take a look at the CDC travel recommendations.

Wash your hands - Continue to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and running water to slow the spread of germs.

Plan with Sequoia Strong - New year, new you. Sequoia Strong has you covered with local services and activities to help you achieve your 2022 goals. Go to Sequoia Strong to get started today.
