Equine-assisted therapy (physical, occupational, and speech therapy conducted on horseback) is an approved treatment strategy used by professional physical, occupational, and speech therapy associations. With the distinction of being the only Northern California facility member of the American Hippotherapy Association, NCEFT pioneered one of the nation’s first equine-assisted therapy programs. Currently providing more than 4,000 sessions year, programs are specialized to treat every individual, no matter their age, background, or diagnosis.
Sequoia Healthcare District is a proud sponsor of NCEFT programs.
