Managing Anxiety and Stress is a therapy group provided by Sutter Health Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) that teaches participants about responses to stress and anxiety and helps them to develop better coping skills. Participants learn how to understand and identify triggers for stress response, recognize triggering thoughts, feelings, images, or sensations, identify problematic response patterns, improve communication with others, and use stress reduction and mindfulness techniques to manage symptoms. The group size is four to eight people. A minimum eight week commitment is recommended.
